Why would that surprise you? Each contract improvement for Baines must've been incentivised with a decent enough wage rise to tie him down.

Rom's on 75k a week. I can't find the link but that's what Greg O'Keefe put on his twtter account after he confirmed that Rom was signing for us.

What the hell. Surely not.

Edit: hahah can you imagine getting Deulofeu, Cleverly and Yarmolenko for £15m total. I would wet myself. My reaction is still 'surely not' but it would be the dreamiest thing ever.

Yep that's true, I thought you were balking at the overall figures - I do find it hard to accept that anyone 'earns' that much, though!
