Until all major European leagues start on the same day it will always be like this.
Then we need to get in touch with Europe and have stern words, make the call Douglas.

Can the usual suspects please stay on topic. As you know, it's been agreed that the Roberto Martinez thread is the one where all the anti-manager bile is poured into.
Please mate, the smell of desperation coming from your posts trying to unseat the manager is nauseating now.
I thought you were netter than this, I really did.
Please stay on topic and stick to the transfer business.
No you're not. You're trying to throw a noose over a tree for him to stick his neck in.
Dont insult my intelligence.
Moyes said 'not for sale' multiple times. Martinez has said it now.
No difference whatsoever.
The desperation is pretty pathetic.
I appeal again: stay on topic, Stop hijacking this thread to continue your grubby work of attempting to smear the manager.
the board know this from a financial perspective
Can we leave the Manger stuff for the Manager thread please. This is a Transfer thread, not a Manager one.
has this whole long running van dijk saga been brought about by mikey saying on here he'd like us to sign him?
Is Mason from Barnsley part of the three?
Highly doubtful. Why would he be?Is Mason from Barnsley part of the three?
Don't start that game now... You're off topic.Hahahaha see what you two jokers have done there, hahaha
REPORTED.
I doubt Roberto Martinez bases his transfer business on my whims if I'm honest
Don't start that game now... You're off topic.
I'm still waiting for more Austin info.. He'd be great for us!
Mourinho: "Everton could come out now and say he's not for sale and that's the end of it."
Martinez: "John is not for sale, and that is the end of it."
At some point you have to take what is being said on face value. Yes, managers often skirt around questions, but in this instance there's a few factors in play that suggest Stones is staying. First off, Martinez would now look very silly if he went, as he's just said we're not a selling club, we're not selling players, John isn't going etc.
Secondly, the big money enters the league next season.
Third, player prices increase after international tournaments.
Fourth, he's under a long term contract and he's young. It's harder for him to sulk his way to a move as he jeopardises his own career.
And fifth, his personality. If this was Sterling, I'd agree with you. It's not though - Stones has been silent, and nothing indicates he is nothing but a top professional in how he approaches his career. I can't see him unsettling himself when he knows he has bigger moves possible in the future if he carries on developing.
Too many factors for me suggesting he's going nowhere - but after today, the number one factor is the sheer confidence from Martinez in that press conference. It suggests to me the discussion is over.
