I'm not so sure. I think Shaqiri is a young, quality player who was available at a fair price. He is the exact type of player we should be signing.

Based on what I've seen of him and read about him I don't think he's the kind of player we need for the formation Martinez is trying to make work.

Which is weird, as I've seen him maybe 6 or 7 times that I can recall and think he'd fit in perfectly.

IF we don't get the 3 players (not sure why 3 is the magic number)
AND the season goes badly
AND Bobby claims its not his fault
THEN he will get sacked as he is accountable for performances good and bad. Its not like Kenwright gets fired, because of poor results, or that would likely have happened some time ago.....
