According to the leading Swedish evening paper, Aftonbladet, Everton are looking to buy Jonas Olsson from Dutch club NEC Nijmegen. The player has confirmed to his local paper in Sweden that he has got the impression that EFC has been at games watching him; "If I was given a chance to play in that league (PL) then Everton feels like a fantastic club to play for!

I love the warm fuzzy feeeling of links to Brazilians playing in Russia.

Its much better than links were used to of scots playing in scotland.

When I was a kid my Dad used to organise trips for the Scotland versus England games and before the match a sight seeing tour one year he took us all to the house Alex young was born where Alex scott lived ect it was funny people looking at a coach wondering what the f** are they up to :lol:

We are? I missed that article then... and I'm not that big a fan of him either. There are better players out there for us.

Been linked with this lad again today, apprently out of contract and 29, could be a goer as we have no cash and are in a slightly better postion than west brom

He is one of those players who I dont tend to notice if I am honest, so I am neither "for" or "against" this move, but the practicalities are we could use another defender, given Distin's age
