Of course he did.

I don't see the reason you feel that you should respond with every post you disagree with, With sarcasm.

Kroldrup did go on to make a good career in italy, It was a slower pace and less physical, It was well known as soon as we got him he couldn't cope with the physicallity of the english game, And there was also something to do with money when we got knocked out of the champions league as to why we sold him.

This. Still love you Ijjy tho.x

How about bounce backs?

Pienaar, Stubbs, Ferguson. (not counting Jeffers or McFadden because the first 3 should never have left)

On a side note on Ferguson, the story is he came of the pitch and was told, btw lad, you've been sold to newcastle, without manager or player being involved. One thing I never heard answered is if he didn't want to go, why'd he agree personal terms and sign with them?

Was told the club needed the money from it and he left thinking it would help the club. Iirc

Agree with all this. Kroldrup was excellent was Excellent for Udinese and has been very good for Fiorentina. Also a respectable amount of international appearances.

The only time he has ever been ****e was for us. (if we can judge a player on a game and a half). Sometimes transfers just dont work out for many reasons. Doesnt mean he is ****, far from it infact.

He was out Joe Allen. Walker had him in mind for a pivotal role in our team but got sacked and Royle didnt fancy him.

The lad could pass a ball. He did the best pass I have ever seen at Goodison against norwich where he pinged it 60 yards with backspin and it stopped dead into Stuarts path. Didnt do much else though though technically he won us our last trophy.

Then he went to Spain and became the complete opposite of what he was in England.

Smith had told him days before in training I think, and the word at the time was that DFs old feller was telling everyone before the game he''d been sold to Newcastle.

I could never stand Smith. He gets the credit from some that he took the blows off Johnson on the chin and soldiered on. But he raked the cash in from Everton and he and his knuckledraging assistant made the club a very dark place for years. It'd be a close run thing between him and Kenwright in the hall of shame for me.
