He improved saints and he improved spurs ... if he could improve us and get us like we were with Moyes ( and by that I mean 5-6th regularly) then it’s a no brainer. I don’t think it’s to unrealistic a target and in 2-3 seasons we could potentially be the “ best of the rest” again in a new stadium and be a much more attractive proposition for new players and managers. It won’t happen like but I would take him in place of Silva without a moments thought.

It`s not often a manager like Pochettino becomes available mid season and there`s been loads of links to them in the past.
