Tottenham Hotspur

Have to assume the Forest game will be it for him without a result.

Dyche has shown he can get an immediate bounce, it just goes stale very quickly afterwards.

Whether the Spurs players think they are too good to run around more will be the question to dropping in a firefighter.
Imagining them binning Tudor today and bringing in Dyche, then seeing him take their superstars on a training camp to Grimsby with a double Gaffer's Day thrown into the mix.

Honestly at this point I genuinely would no longer be surprised if they went down the proven firefighter route, a la Allardyce or Dyche.

I think they should have gone with somebody who has a Spurs connection — maybe even Mason tbh. The appointment of Tudor is absolutely baffling.

Feels like the perfect storm is coming together. Terrible ownership, player recruitment mixed with injuries and a season where a couple of the promoted teams have surpassed expectations.

I am interested to see if their supporters are capable of adapting to the situation like ours did and ultimately park frustration with ownership to rally behind the team. They do have some good players scheduled to return for the run in. I think 9 points will see them safe which is a point a game. A one point advantage over West Ham but Also with a superior goal difference.

You have to think they lose to the RS next so that Forest game will be massive. I think it would be great for the league if they dropped. Sky 6 era officially over
The apathy so clearly visible last night would suggest they're nowhere near that. Even pre-game, there lacked any atmosphere and quickly soured further.

They have a reasonably challenging run too, so they will need to start picking up points sooner rather than later.

He was a good poster. I'd like to see him back.

No schadenfreude from this end - We've experienced the gut-wrenching trauma of flirting with relegation too often in the past three decades to gloat.
He was but you got to take the rough with the smooth

Hoist up a dog on your shoulders, hire a young child to throw sweets at the crowd, sing songs about how boss you are and don't let the irony show

I don't even mind Spurs tbh. Would much rather say bye to Forest. At least our players were just crap though, theirs look like they're actively working against the club

Issue who comes in? Theres no managers to call upon anymore to get you out of relegation…no specialists

Big Sam too old, warnock to old, Dyche showed at forest he was powerless to help them

You could do a hail mary pass and get a club legend to rally the club a Hoddle even a Redknapp but that likely fails as well

They appointed Tudor thinking they weren’t really in trouble hubris by the spurs board

Dyche would give them a fighting chance of staying up, but it’d be incredibly difficult to implement his nine men behind the ball footy and lump it up to the grock brand of footy with nine games to go.

Plus he’d want at least what’s left of this season and next season as a contract.

Its a great time to take the spurs job, ask for whatever you want as a survival bonus
