The amount of players they've nicked from under our noses over the years... I wouldn't kin miss them.
Although in fairness they'd only be gone a year. This is clearly a freak season from them (they basically forfeited a quarter of last season to win the Europa..).

Not necessarily. The Championship is far more competitive and their better players won't want to play second-tier football. They could just as easily pull a Luton.

They've been paralysed by injuries for two seasons, it's been unprecedented. If we'd have had the injuries they've had we'd be a Championship team now.
Postecoglu, knowing they weren't able to qualify for Europe via the league yet weren't in any danger of relegation, made the decision to rest key available players for European games. Paid off I suppose, even if he was fired as a result, which was utterly insane imo.

I see where you're coming from. They'd be the biggest fall from grace in 30+ years — Champions League football one season, Championship next season.
But they have loads of good young players and I doubt there would be a fire sale. They generate loads of money through their stadium and parachute payments plus a few wise sales would maintain a solid squad that would probably break 100 points in that division.
It would be very interesting to see what certain players decided. If you've got one move left in you, you're probably wanting out of there. But they wouldn't sell at massively reduced prices. Maybe we could nab Richi for £20 million, although his injuries are putting me off, and he's 29 soon.
Certainly absolutely loads of their players I'd love here. Van de Ven, Porro, Gray, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Sarr, Richarlison.
Anyway, they ain't going down.
