Didn't Duncan Ferguson mention something similar in his book? Something like he was asked by moshiri about 3 players and he basically said none were good enough.

Yes. After Benitez was sacked Moshiri, Kenwright and DBB called Ferguson in for a meeting where they asked him to be interim again and about possible signings. Duncan said he suggested that they go bring in Matic who was being offered around by United, said he was the sort of player we lacked in midfield. Moshiri said no, he's too old and slow. Dunc said "he's a no.6, he's doesn't have to be quick!". Moshiri said no again and Dunc lost his temper and said; "this is your problem Farhad, you don't ****ing listen!" He stormed out and afterwards Kenwright came over and chastised him for swearing at Moshiri ().

For what it's worth, Matic ended up going to Roma with Mourinho and had a great season for them.

Even though I've read that you've said 2pm, I led to believe that at some point in the future the PL will get 8pm fixtures on a Sunday.

The thought of going to a game at BMD at 8pm on a Sunday would infuriate me.
