I was poking about some of their online fan things, and they are absolutely the opposite of us in the same situation.I can’t remember if we voted on this question when things were looking dodgy for us, but I’d be interested to know how their pessimism stacks up against ours.

Pretty much Grouch…I was poking about some of their online fan things, and they are absolutely the opposite of us in the same situation.
Granted we had a lot more experience of it than they have ever had but our attitude was very much ‘fight, unite, win’ etc.
Theirs is “I’ve had it this is awful why do I bother”. It will get them nowhere fast.
This nonsense doesn’t wash.Gonna be a day of national mourning when we are mathematically confirmed to stay up.
Plus it had been 70 plus years since we’d been relegated and we have been in the top flight the most seasons of ANY club hence why it was such a big deal for us to go down. Not having Everton in the top flight would have just been weird. This nonsense doesn’t wash.
Pretending to be the victims of national dislike. You are nothing of the sort, people would simply find it amusing to see you drop and a victory for irony, with your club being one of the original Sky 6 scab club who thought you were too big for the PL.
People actually wanted us to go down because they claimed we cheated and national press are so far up the arse of our neighbors.
Would you lay money on you winning the league before us? With your 2 titles?Gonna be a day of national mourning when we are mathematically confirmed to stay up.
I think we get a point at Sunderland and beat Brighton.
I would happily lay money we win another major trophy before Everton do also

They do seem incredibly pessimistic on the whole - but the arrogance is still there with some of them.I was poking about some of their online fan things, and they are absolutely the opposite of us in the same situation.

I found this a mad thing to be thinking about:

It also seemed like Nuno played like he wanted to prove a point to his previous employers.Watching the Hammers highlights, the 2nd and 3rd goals, and a few other chances, came from West Ham hunting down Wolves players with the ball like a team desperate to survive.
I do not see that attitude from Spurs.
We’ll finish well above Sunderland no matter the result.I hate that it benefits us if these bums win tomorrow.
But West Ham are showing some belief and fight. That counts for a lot in a relegation battle.Wet spams are worse on paper.
