I don’t think any midfield starting should be thinking Ancelotti rates them, we literally have no other choice.

No pressing anywhere whatsoever and no one with the confidence to play a forward pass. We are so hamstrung in midfield it's untrue.

They've been crap mate and barely deserve the lead.

The problem is we've been equally woeful and haven't had any shots to get deflected in their goal.

These are a team to be had and we've got absolutely zero about us currently.

They have had no shot on target.. They are nearly as bad as us

Not difficult...spurs have been poor going forward...with the current system he has to offer a lot more attacking...

Mina carrying it out of defence and setting up our only decent opportunity shows why you need defenders who are capable of playing a bit of football.

This first half has put a huge spotlight onto how much we desperately are crying out for a combative midfielder

I think that’s fair.
Gomes looks quite limited in this set up, either that or he’s just limited full stop.
The lads were unlucky not to go in level with the Richarlison chance at the end.
Hopefully there will be a tactical change at HT to give a bit more of an edge.
Decent chance Morinho will make them play on the counter in the second half.
