Top 5 worst performances/results this season so far

I feel like we are on the outside of football looking in.

None of it concerns us any more.

We are no longer involved in the fight for the 4th Place Trophy and CL qualification.

We exit cups at practically the earliest stage possible.

Our season is ended in the first weekend of January for the second year in a row.

(though a few more losses in the next couple weeks will probably see the relegation spectre give the next few months a perverse vitality)

We can’t attract top players.

We can’t attract a top class manager.

The prospect of playing in a brand new stadium seems a distant pipe dream (to me anyway).

Worst thing of all, I hardly care anymore.

My wife said, in the week, that she would like to out on Saturday night to catch a movie and go for a meal in town afterwards.

I initially said yes....then remembered about last night’s tea time kick off and said no I couldn’t go as I would have to watch the match.

Then I said “sod it” and for the first time in my like arranged a night out that I did not have to at a time when Everton was playing.

It was 1-0 when I left the house around 6, recorded the rest of the game.

I never once thought about the match and when I came home I just started watching my MOTD recording.

Never expecting us to get back in the game but not expecting that collapse either.

And it doesn’t even hurt no moah :(

(the movie was Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri BTW....good show ;))

We've become a 100% mediocre side.

Got to disagree, we were right in that game until the last 15 mins.

2 guilt edged chances at 1-0 down.

Could say the same about the match at Goodison. We missed a good chance while 0-1 down before they scored the 2nd in the 81st min. Least we didn't ship 2 more goals. We may have played better at OT but in a few years time the record books just show we got tonked whereas the Goodison result was just a standardo loss.

This season is the first season in my life I'll stop watching us at the 60min point, we're that bad.

How about five good performances. A full 90 minutes.

West Ham.

Limassol.

No others.

West Ham wasn’t good for the full ninety minutes.

First fifteen or twenty minutes of the second half they ripped us a part.....then they missed£ a penno and Wayne scored that worldie to get us back on track

When I saw the thread title, I did consider the prospect of this being a DVD title in the club shop this summer.

We’ve made crazier commercial decisions.

We have indeed.

I just would rather not remember all of this seasons disasters. Let alone rank them.

Arsenal at home was horrible, i left after about 75 minutes gone absolutely devastated. I walked all the way into town without realising what I was doing, then went home and pretty much just went to bed. I normally take losing quite level-headedly and can be quite rational about it, but I was genuinely upset after that game.

I was utterly livid after the united away game as well but i think for some reason I'd much rather be livid than upset.

Everton 3-0 Sunderland , the worst Everton team I have ever watched played against the worst team I have ever seen at GP , it was like a practice match attack v defence where the attackers didn't and the defenders were cardboard cutouts. Any Everton team I have seen in the last 50 years would have won twenty nil .
