Malta (unfortunately the window is no more)
New Zealand south island (2 photos nugget point and mirror lake)
Costa Rica (just an amazing varied country)
Kiruna, Sweden- lapland

Mentions to Budapest which is my fave city, & I love Skåne region in Sweden for some reason. Haven't got any photos from Langkawi Malaysia, or kho phi ect Thailand on my phone but they were gorgeous.

Places I really want to visit besides where I've been are:
Patagonia
Moscow
Lake Baikal
Astana
Dubrovnik
(If there's a sixth an Amazon cruise provided the forest hasn't been flattened for McDonalds beefburgers by that time)

Has anyone been to Belgrade, it has been voted for quite some time as the best party city on the planet, I'd like to go there because of that and I will within the next few years. Be interested to know what peoples experiences of the place and any tips for areas and accomodation. I'm getting there with learning the Bulgarian language which is mutually intelligible with serbo-croat so I should be able to chat with the locals to a degree, which always help with getting some friendliness out of the locals even if they do all speak fluent english they like people to make some effort.

Tahiti. Fascinated by the whole Bounty story. Paradise
Iceland- to see the sun on the horizon at midnight.
New York- Just for the whole experience. And to take on a street chess hustler.
Iguazu falls- Argentina. Largest waterfall system in the world.
The north coast 500. Camper van tour of the northern coast of Scotland. One just to chill out.

To take on a street chess hustler you should go to Bulgaria, it's their favourite pastime and parks up and down the country have chess hustlers. I thought I was decent, I tried to build a good start game and lost spectacularly in Sofia losing a bit of money, the old guys there know their chess. Their sportsmen of the year have recently been chess players, that's how much they respect the sport.

As many of you will have already guessed, my username is because I renovate higher end properties and live in a beachfront villa myself. I just wonder how people can even consider New York as a nice place to travel, the interior designers are working from boxes, there's little to get excited about from the architecture, there's no history. As Dubai (another soulless city) has shown, it's an easy thing to replicate. I think people get carried away by the 'Big Apple' tag, I've been there more times than I can remember, been to weddings in Central Park, it's a showbiz city. The city is no deeper than what you see in the theatres! All show, no go from an emotional point of view. Just a porn mag. It's the same as many of these new world cities, once you touch down at the airport what is there to do. Go to a restaurant? Go to their parkland? Go to a nightclub? None of these events mean much unless it's intrinsicly matched to the greater world/region or famous globally significant events. America is culturally young, same as Australia, it's hard to get excited by either of their cities. To me Europe, Asia and Africa rule, from a biodiversity aspect South America rules too with it's Amazon.

I wouldn't say Belgrade is the best party city, but I stayed in a floating hostel on the Danube. The party splavs were good fun but tbh I was really really trolleyed the whole time I was there. My Macedonian friend did all the talking for us, I met him there after partying in Budapest and travelling by train to Belgrade (the train was crap- find an alternate route)

To be honest i found it hard to believe it was the best party city in the world. Thessaloniki is meant to be the 5th best city but it is way better than las vegas and anywhere else, it's literally a party all the time city.

Sounds like it might of been but you were too drunk to remember too, is that the case?

How can you say this? It's not a review at all at all. It's like saying i went to moscow, I went to the first pub, it was a haze, got the first flight home and it was [Poor language removed].

I'd say going to the danube clubs in Belgrade and not remembering things proves it is the best place to go to. Classy people may remember, most won't.
