There's a couple of third party candidates, but they can't accrue anywhere near enough support to make a difference. The Republicans should just form 2 parties, they have no idea what they stand for anymore
Didn't get that impression here in California, most of the press was about how exciting Sanders was, the enthusiasm of young voters and Clinton's weaknesses. And yet despite that my circle of friends voted for Clinton over Sanders by roughly a two to one margin in the primary - generally they were older and more centrist voters who thought Sanders too left wing to get elected.I don't think it was a small thing, and it was enough for Debbie Schultz to have to resign. Between the coverage the Democratic nomination received and the favoritism showed by the DNC throughout the entire process, you'd swear there was only one candidate in the whole process. There are plenty of reservations to be had. People almost apologetically acknowledge that she is in the pocket of so many companies and special interests, and intend to vote for her anyway.

Living here as I do I think electing Trumo would make an awful statement but we'll leave it there.Aye, I was only going off our own press, which is admittedly irrelevant to the whole process. Hillary is massively compromised and too beholden to special interests imo. It's fine if you think the US only needs one or 2 tweaks to be right, but I can't understand anyone who says that the US has a multitude of deep, deep problems and declares that they would vote for Hillary in the same breath. Trump would be a useless President, but I think it would make a fine statement.
Yeah, it's all up to their media to keep them interested and fuel the Hillary hatred rather than promote Drumpf. Probably work too.agreed, but as mentioned before they may just not vote
americans - would republicans vote for the libertarian candidate? wasnt there some other weird party on the ballot?(not greens)

To the rest of the world, yes. But it could potentially be one of the most effective protest votes in history. Nothing will change under Hillary. Nothing will change under Trump either, but it might force both parties to have a good long look at themselves. I do understand that it's easy to say these things from Leprechaun Island than it is to vote for the buffoon, but I would encourage any of my American chums to take a leap into the unknown.
Sorry, that's me finished now.
Kasich would have been better but his $5 haircut held him backIs there any better options than these two?
I mean I know it's going to be one of them but is there actually someone who would have been better? Or are they all just the same? Well not same but equally ropey.
This is an, err, interesting strategy to win over women voters that he currently is struggling with....
my biggest concern is that trump legitimises the really nasty racist element of america through the language he uses
