Medhi Hassan made some pretty stupid and unpleasant remarks about atheists and LGBTQ people about a decade ago, for which he has long since apologised unreservedly and has never tried to defend.
Not aware of any "racist rhetoric" but don't mind being wrong.

If you believe the sincerity of the racist's apology then that's up to you. I don't believe someone repeats that type of filth without believing it fully. He still believes in flying horses so the idea he's now rejected other teachings of his faith is, for me, impossible to believe. He's just more circumspect when there are cameras around.

Can I just get something clear Steve0? In your defence of SYL you keep coming back to double standards and how others are viewed differently. Personally I disagree with you on this but I just wanted to know if you agree with the stuff he says? Maybe I haven't gone back far enough but I haven't seen a post where you say either way?
