Personally I don't mind him coming and staying as long as Moysie is here.
He's very a Fellaini-like player, except without the occasional mad streak. I have always really liked him personally, but he's not the kind of signing we need at this point.
Our midfield needs a sitter, someone who can take Gueye's place and will win the ball back many times in a game. Soucek's not that type of player, he's far more effective in the opposition box causing trouble. But we already have KDH and Alcaraz as our no.10s, and Grealish will surely be used there as well over the season.

Based on the price, this will be a bad signing. Unless we are challenging for top 4, you absolutely do not sign this guy. It's a waste. He is good. No resale value. Can decline at any minute and we will be stuck with him. Other holes in the squad' etc. Either the Friedkin's are very ambitious or just plain stupid.

I think with Grealish (however good) being a bit of a PSR killer dont want another one. Also lack of legs bothers me. At the same time theres a goals gap - and he knows how to get results....but yeah long term thinking please

The positive’s are he is tall (does that even count as a positive ) , and scores some goals ?
Ignoring the negatives such as , he is a poor distributer of the ball, is slow and can’t dribble.?
I expect a little more from a midfielder.
He is very , very average at best.
If he signs him DM can go imo signing a bum like him & probably letting a talent like Harrison Armstrong out on loan just does sum up DM as dour Dave!
