Tom Ince

I've just thought of a sneaky plan that will allow us to sign Tom Ince on the cheap, whilst simultaneously infuriating the kopites at the same time.

Players who can enter pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs effectively put pressure on their clubs to sell the player before they sign a pre-contract agreement, as the signing of a pre-contract agreement ultimately ensures that the player will leave on a free transfer in just six months time. So the club need to sell now, otherwise the player will leave on a free and they will receive no cash.

So Tom Ince should approach someone like Sligo Rovers (as they are foreign), and say "Right, I'll sign a pre-contract with you but it's only going to be for a 2-week long contract, in which you only have to pay me £10 an hour for 35 hours per week". However the contract with Sligo will never be signed unless Blackpool refuse to accept Everton's £500,000 offer for Tom Ince this January. Apparently the RS have a 50% sell on fee, so they would only get a measly £250,000.

So the possible outcomes would be:

1. Blackpool decide that they must sell Ince to Everton for £500,000 this January. Ince signs for Everton and receives a tasty signing on fee. Everton compensate Sligo through either buying one of their crap players for £250,000 who will be put on a 2-week long contract at £10 per hour. Or perhaps Everton could place an advert in the their matchday programme for £250,000.

2. If Blackpool refuse then Ince can join Sligo Rovers for free in 6 months time. Ince would only be on a 2-week long contract, so he could then leave on a free for another club of his choice once the contract with Sligo has ended. That club could be Everton, and we will offer him a tasty signing on fee. Everton or Ince would compensate Sligo through offering to take out an advert in their match day programme for the sum of £250,000.

Everybody wins, except Blackpool and the RS!

Obviously outcome 1 would be the one that really benefits both Ince and Everton.

I don't think anyone did tbh

Erm...

He's ****e. So lightweight, was piss poor when he came on. Tonight...

Hmmmm. I agree, sadly.

He gives the ball away too much, too lightweight/not good enough

No seen enough now. He's ****e ...

Badly gash so far. Has no landmark to his Everton career, at least Naismith has a few goals. This Oviedo lad has dhowed nothing to give me confidence he can slot in. Glad others have noticed this.

That was probably when he played LW. We all know he isn't a winger in the prem

You could see he could have been a decent LB though

Ince is no better than what we have. If he really is going to be available i bet the RS get him by offering higher wages. They are welcome to him. Would rather spend money on Jordan Rhodes. We need a proper striker who is ours not on a loan.

I am told he does not like Rogers, also had Paul Ince in my cab a few times in Heswall and he seems OK you can have a bit of a laugh with him.

tbh he is clearly bladdered.
Probably saying anything to shut the lad up. I know its part of their job but it would get annoying

Only outcome would be docked points and massive fines for both sides, with a long term ban for Ince. Swerve it.

At least he's keeping his proposed transfer quiet.
