Totally different players though, especially regarding passing range and strengths in the middle of the park.To be honest Livermore has impressed me more than Huddlestone on the times I've watched him.

Presumably the German lad is a gonna, Pip is gone too, so we're pretty darn short of numbers in the holding midfield roles, especially given that Gibson has hardly shown he can stay fit all season.
So if Huddlestone was cheap, why not? Gibsons passing is often awful so having someone that can help us build from the back would be nice.
Gibson's performance is heavily affected by whoever plays alongside him. When Felli's there, Gibson delivers barnstorming performances. When Osman plays next to Gibbo, Gibbo's role changes and his performance suffers.
On that basis, I believe putting Huddlestone alongside Gibbo would make me want to kick my cat. Whoever mentioned Diame as an alternative was right.
How many times have you actually watched Fer play.
I watch enough of Huddlestone and Jelavic runs faster than him. I am seen enough of Huddlestone and his position is bad.
Jelavic plays a different position than huddlestone. The position he plays doesn't need him to run around like a headless chicken, it more intelligent moving/positioning.
i think his question was have you ever watched fer.
Hes utter turd.
Story in the mail today saying spurs are gonna have to let a lot of players go to fund a new contract for bale, Huddlestone being one of them. I think we were linked with him when he was at derby before spurs signed him but I think he'd be a great addition to the squad. Wouldn't cost us an extortionate sum and can't imagine him being on mega wages. He's got a great passing range with both feet and would add a bit of bite to the midfield
SIGN HIM UP RALPH!
