Given Huddlestone fitness record, he would be probably injured/out of shape when Gibson injury would actually open a spot for him.

Depends how much. I used to think he was good but he really seems to have gone off the boil, similar situation to what Gibson was in at Utd. If we are talking £2-£3 million I think he would be a good addition.

Agreed but his work ethic isn't that good and the amount of injuries makes Jack Rodwell look like Superman. Moyes did rate him and tried more than once to get him, his on ball skill is very good but his discipline and stamina levels give cause for concern.

Gets back on the fence, depends on the price

Presumably the German lad is a gonna, Pip is gone too, so we're pretty darn short of numbers in the holding midfield roles, especially given that Gibson has hardly shown he can stay fit all season.

So if Huddlestone was cheap, why not? Gibsons passing is often awful so having someone that can help us build from the back would be nice.
