He is the only player we have that receives the ball in the middle of the park and turns to make a positive pass or dribble almost everytime. His confidence is shot and he's making loads of mistakes because of it, but at least he still makes that positive first move.

Hopefully he regains some confidence and form.

Technically lacking but has drive which we need. Coaches really need to work with him because there is a player there.

If we have any hopes of chasing down the top 6 next season then it's difficult to see where Davies fits into the squad based purely on his performances.

Massive summer coming up for him to find some form. Right now he looks well out of his depth in a way that wouldn't really be tolerated at other clubs. Luckily for him we are dire and that alone has got him game time.

Midfield player who drives forward at every opportunity, good energy & tackles well...

Needs to improve on his passing & shooting...

Needs to develope a goal threat more to evolve in to the complete box to box midfield player....

He is only 19 & has lots of time to improve his weaknesses & will develope into a important player for Everton...

I used to compare him to being a potential Mark Noble but even that is unlikely given the form this season. Thinking there's a quality player there is a real leap of faith, I hope there is because of his links with the club but realistically he can't turn in performances like this for another 12 months and get game time.

Hopefully if the team picked up form then he would as well. Unfortunately we seem to have put together a squad of players which doesn't include anyone capable of dragging the team out of the malaise. They're all waiting for someone else to come along so their own game improves.

Not good enough, yet anyway. Probably the reason he doesn’t start, his ball retention is so poor.

Looked really good in the first 4/5 mins after came on, albeit mostly because of his fresher legs.

Then the lapses in concentration started. Some of his passes were genuinely dreadful, more due to awful decision-making rather than lack of talent. Hopefully that's just inexperience and won't last long-term as it unfortunately did with Barkley.
