I wouldn't even say his form has been that bad. He's been involved in a lot of the good play we've managed this season, it was Davies that set Lennon on for him to win the penalty against Watford. It was Davies who put Niasse in for the first goal against Bournemouth with a brilliant pass. He also played a part in the second goal in that game.
Considering how poor the other midfielders have been (Gana and Schneids awful in every game, McCarthy a perma crock), I think will miss him more than we think if he's injured for a while.

Goodison is quiet these days, not a hotbed of abuse. This is due to changing times and the utter crap we’ve put up with for years.
I may be wrong but I would expect that players generally and young players in particular are advised to stay away from for a such as this and most probably do so.

Please vault me where I said it was easy. I said I find it hard to sympathise with kids earning 30k per week. That's absolutely disgusting amounts of money and it may be the cause of kids not making it properly. Life is full of achievable goals which ultimately leads to the "holy grail". Give a kid his grail at 17 years old and he's got nothing to work for. I wasn't drinking at 15, and if I had the opportunity of "playing a game for EVERTON FC" tomorrow, I wouldn't give a flying fudge what my mates were doing!
I actually do a very hard flipping job and put in countless hours trying to achieve what I have. I get paid a fraction of what a professional football player does and still come under criticism from time to time. It helps me become better at what I do. I would gladly take a mass critique from 40000 fans for 30k per week!
