I think we have to be careful not to overhype him as we tend to do with young local lads for Everton. But on saying that he's my favourite player ever I reckon.

He's like a combination of Don Bradman, Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt and Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards.

I remember Barkley tweeting about him. Probably 3 yrs ago Davies was playing for England schoolboys in the victory shield I think.

And he tweeted about what a great game he was having
