Sad decline from what he was. I had such high hopes for him when he burst on the scene. Thought he’d be a long term captain for us and England international but he just got worse and worse and worse. A 17 year old Tom Davies coming through now would be more useful than the one leaving.

It brings the squad back down to 25, that's with the bodies coming back from loan (6) - who might not be part of the first team squad- that's the lowest i think its been since Moshiri came in - its very low in real terms.

Good for him, it's too short a career to spend on the bench at an absolute car crash of a club, trying to impress a succession of managers. Hope he gets a good club, settles in quickly and becomes a mainstay in the team.
I can't believe there was a point in time when we turned down actual money for this guy.
