Problem is the talented don't want to be back ups in a team regularly fighting relegation.Backups are the problem, bring us someone with talent
Fair enough on (b) and I’ve still got my fingers and everything else crossed for (a)( a) we don't know for sure he's going and ( b) . I wasn't being entirely serious
Lots out there want to play in the PLProblem is the talented don't want to be back ups in a team regularly fighting relegation.
I’d 100% play Andre Gomes before even thinking of ever using Tom Davies again.
Gomes won’t be able to survive high intensity and heavy pressing game. Forget about him, it’ll never work for him under Dyche.….and me. Gomes actually came on as sub to good effect on occasion, especially in a more advanced role where his lack of pace isn’t exploited.
His agent has been free to negotiate for the last 6 months of his contractHis agent will be busy in the market right now - "this is what Everton offered, can you better it".
Hasn’t yet but he’s not good enough. If Brighton can sign quality players for under 5 mill then what is this guy doing in our squad. He’s not good enough and he’s been feeding off that city goal for quite awhile nowWhich game did we (we, not you) lose this season because of Davies coming on as a sub? We lost 8 of 19 PL games he appeared in and 4 of those he played <=20 mins
His agent has been free to negotiate for the last 6 months of his contract
Red flags over Dyche and his judgement of players then.Lots out there want to play in the PL
TD has been free to negotiate with whoever wants him for the past 6 months, guess what, nobody wants him.
We’ve just signed a player wanting by nobody.
That’s why we are where we are because we think in terms of back-ups
It’s a worryRed flags over Dyche and his judgement of players then.
