He's the new age uber woke Duncan Ferguson, in years to come these younger fans will liken him to my generations golden vision, its just what we do! It's weird I idolised Alan Whittle as a youngster and so Tom gets a free pass from me because of the family connection. Football is a wash with opinion and that's why we love it and part of our DNA is surely to support our own ground 'talent' even through rose tinted glasses?

I like Davies as a lad. Humble, down to earth and his own man. Lot to admire about him.

As a player though, he just hasn't kicked on. Been given plenty of opportunities and different roles and I could probably count the number of games he has really impressed me in since his first season on the fingers of one hand.

This summer he will have 12 months left on his contract - it's realistically the time when we either have to sell or give him a new deal and I think it'd be better for all concerned if he moved on now. I see this as a big summer for moving players on - there are a good number out of contract and there are a few others coming into their final year and we'll need to make decisions on them. Fortunately I think the Davies decision should be one of the easier ones.

Just needs to be let go, doesn't add anything to the team that an 18 year old from the academy couldn't

Hasn't really worked out for him here on the playing front but he seems a decent bloke. Would be happy to have a chat with him whilst playing GoldenEye on the N64, which I'm willing to bet money he has

Might be right to sell but he’s not been managed well, different roles, haphazard systems, poor players around him, poor attitude around him.
His development has definitely been hampered.
He’d wouldn’t be the first out the door for me.

Genuinely excited that we may never see him wear the famous Everton FC jersey again. Hopefully Frank has a word in his ear and tells him to look for a move now so that he can hit the ground running with a new club in League Two in the summer.

Gets an insane amount of hate compared to some immensely worse Everton players. I suspect half of it is down to his fashion sense.

If he could cut out them daft mistakes in midfield he’d be a decent option from the bench, he just seems to over complicate things when a simple pass would do.

Can’t fault his passion though, rather have lads like him around the team then the likes of delph.

He's a fine squad player for now, tbh. Earns less than half of what Gbamin does, less than a third of what Delph does and nearly five times less than Andre Gomes does. A player of his quality on his salary is not really an issue for a club in our position, even if he hasn't kicked on as much as we'd have liked.

Definitely get rid but might be difficult to get any money for him, especially from a small club. Just get off the wage bill. He is probably a very rich young man, so who cares?

Let's wait and see what FL makes of him.
Benitez just didn't seem to want to play him but looking back with some of his selections that does not necessarily reflect badly on Tom Davies.
