Tony Hibbert part 2
Nah Hibbert was quite good for quite a bit, then became consistently great defensively.
Tom has no standout qualities.
Very much deadwood in my eyes, would be great to see him out along with Delph and Gomes. Doubt it though.

Disagree regarding Hibbert mate.
It will be the same with this lad, should of been replaced years ago. They will have a half decent game somewhere and the same folk labelling people haters and all that guff will be out in force. Rinse and repeat.
Early days Hibbert was very good, cmon. 03-05 was prime Hibbert, before the problems. He was bang average overall but good defensively overall.
Tom has 1 goal against City as his only positive.
Welcome back, Tom Davies. Looking forward to watching him bossing the midfield for us next season.

As I said I disagree , thought he was a weak link, often beaten for pace easily and jogged like a doped up frog to get back. Never got a call up to the national team either.
You have to wish all our home grown the very best with their careers but in the new dawn we simply can't carry them and make excuses for them if they are not good enough. Gordon became a man and a first team player fixture this season. Nobody else given the chance has come close.
He was one of the best right backs for those 2 years though. Position was stacked however.
Regardless, Tom is even worse.
