Statistically speaking Davies was our 2nd best defender last season after Allan.
I thoroughly believe he was neglected by Carlo, because he was vital in some of our best performances last season.
Was he bad against Man City? Yes, but so was everyone. So happy birthday to our local lad & I hope he proves all of his doubters next season.

….he’s a pleasant young man but I wouldn’t put that gear on a Guy Fawkes. Plus, if he’s got a back-pack i can’t understand why he doesn’t put his trainers in it.

I’m just glad he’s a cheap home grown option that we can use off the bench in one of our cup runs. Avoiding to use the new first team midfield we’re buying in the next 4 weeks
