I've never rated him, thought PL was beyond his ability and genuinely couldn't see what he was good at.

But I've definitely seen improvement in last few months.

I don't really see how anyone could think Gomes was the better option yday.

He had started to improve and since then has barely figured.
I'm baffled the amount of games Gomes is getting.
You can see everything Gomes does is a struggle.

He's miles more mobile, can put a foot in and offers far more stability in the middle of the park compared to Gomes.

He's nothing like Gomes who doesn't look for the ball, doesn't want the ball, can't win the ball back and slows everything down to a snails pace time and time again

He was playing well until his injury now he can't get back in. I wonder if he's still carrying something as Gomes and Sigurdsson should not both be playing in front of him.
