He’s not forcing the play, showing energy, playing it simple sometimes too simple but he’s got more there with confidence. Better organisation and players around him. I’m not saying he’s a starter but he’s young and he can do a job. Room to improve. Been good this season but very good when we have needed him recently.

Mad to think he was 1 when we beat them at Anfield last. Boyhood Blue that now plays for us and that is his first ever experience of us winning at Anfield. Really happy for the lad, not just for tonight but for the season in general.

Whilst he’s in this form he’s genuinely undroppable, and I was one of the ones who said he was a championship player!! I genuinely didn’t see what he brought, but he has shown that sitting in front of the back 4, winning tackles and getting us playing is his game, let Allan and Doucoure press the game and get forward more, that is our best midfield

With the emergence of Davies as a quality option in midfield, Ancelotti’s got a pleasant problem; who to pick as starters. Our midfield is very deep, and when ( if ) Gbamin and Delph get fit, it’s going get deeper.
