Definitely showing alot more of his ability this year. Seems to cover a fair bit of ground, and always looking to pass forward.
Looks like he has been given orders to pass forward to try and create than just to keep possession for the sake of it. Looked very good today and his last couple of games have been much better than the Davies of old. Really hope it is a corner turned and he now has to keep this standard up and not falter again.

He's the only midfielder who can pass forward. I said it before today and the showing today reinforces it. Gomes is decent at it but not good enough for Davies to not be on the field. He needs to keep playing.
Round of applause for a midfielder who wants to pass the ball forward. Happy he’s playing well and is always offering movement and something in the middle of the park.

We are in huge trouble now if he is starting every game for the rest of the season with Gbamin and Gomes out. Like, relegation trouble.
