Never a Premier League player. Really need to shift him in the summer, he has nothing to offer.

i dont rate him at all but he’s young and not on a huge wage so not really a priority to get rid of imo

I'll usually defend Tom but the amount of stupid tackles he makes when he comes on is an issue.

He generally comes on with 10/15 to go when we're looking too see out games and tends to put us under undue pressure with silly fouls.

This is a fair assessment. The lad isn't the finished article but he did a good job today. If people cant acknowledge that when he came on the pace of Palace and the game changed favourable for us I honestly don't think they can be reasoned with.

He looked very off the pace again, he can't read play and is weak on the ball. The ball is never safe with him.

Carlo gave him a job to do and looked like he was trying to do it - putting himself about and providing more energy into midfield. Did put the ball straight out but also almost put us through on goal.

When we win I'd rather focus on the positives.

Being honest I don't think many would have saw DCL leading the line 6 months ago. It's going to be difficult for him but there is a player there.

That's a fair point about DCL. I'm still not completely sold on DCL but he's proving me wrong & I'm perfectly ok with that. DCL seems to have become a man recently whereas Tom still screams skateboard juvenile teen. Maybe when Tom grows up a bit we might see something more positive.

That's fair enough mate, showed some good things today I reckon. Nothing wrong with being a bit of a character if he keeps focusing on football.

Wasn't happy when Carlo brought him on, but after admitting I do not rate him at all, I have to say he did OK adding energy to an appalling midfield. I even cheered him a few times.
