Done some great stuff today and then just proper let's himself down when he holds onto the ball top long or plays a pass that simply isn't there.

He was good today, Tom has his obvious limitations but put him next to Andre Gomes and he'd look even better.

He's simply not good enough and never will be... Luckily this time next year he'll be luck to get on the bench as a sub. The only reason he's being started is because at the moment there in no one else apart from Schneiderlin and to be blunt there is no one up & coming from the youth.
Woeful today, has been since Gomes was injured.
He's like Keane further back, he can play well when he has a top draw partner alongside him to ease his anxieties, when he's expected to take charge himself though he is always found wanting.
I have no doubt he cares and would never label him gutless but long-term he just isn't the level of player we should be using.

Would love Tom to make it with us. I don't think he did much today maybe provided much needed energy and he is being played in different positions. But didn't get involved enough, lacks physical strength and his ball control can be poor. Got caught with the ball twice near the end and Lost possession from which they had the big miss near the end. Needs to work hard and bulid himself up
