Last season and anytime ive seen him this pre-season, nowhere near the level required to start in prem. If he wasnt a local lad he'd have been hounded, same with Jonjoe unfortunately.

Davies is a crap player I.e. not PL standard and will make his way out of the door along with 4 or 5 others. They are worth nothing and will go on frees. No problem at all. The majority of young academy players at most clubs fail to make the grade. Very few get to the top. .

Since the 4-0 win against City in which he scored a superb goal, I Can’t remember the last time this lad honestly impressed me, I don’t get the hype for him .

Don’t get me wrong I’d love the lad to kick on and become a top player for us but at the moment I have found his performances mostly underwhelming.
