I think he is one of those players who you dont really notice, but somehow makes things tick for other players, be it dragging markers about, holding the midfield at corners, that sort of stuff.

He still looks like he is about to burst into tears though!

I liked the driven corner he can put in. Could become a very useful weapon with Lukaku, jags and Stones lurking.

Came here to say exactly that. He seems to love it here judging by his reactions and I reckon the lads like him too. Love the energy he brings to our play, always looking for the ball.

Cleverley has boo-boys? I didn't think anyone cared enough about him for that. He's a solid squad player, and I think he'll come up with a few pretty moments over the course of the season (especially if he ever gets a chance to play through the middle), but I just don't see him getting any playing time if everyone's fit (which we all know will never happen).

Tell you what, he has a great attitude. Clearly loves his team already and fits right in with our current squad. The way he celebrated after each goal, you'd think he had been in the team for a few seasons. He loved when Barkley scored.

Keeps things ticking over like McCarthy does, just in a slightly different way...which is good if you can use that to stagger the midfield and open passing lanes and holes for Ross. Can't get much better on a free, TBF.
