I think it's him who's the sectarian one.

i think it's HIS family in the line of fire. You know not the reasons why. Until you do, don't judge him. It was only recently you were doing the shouting about pre-judging people without the full facts. How can you now pre judge him without all the facts?

Someone said MON wasn't wearing one either.

Not sure if true or not.

He wasn't. Not that I could see.

Good old jolly Ireland and their amazing fancy dress wearing supporters having a good old time. Did you know all their culture promotes is love and guiness drinking?

Does it ****.

Absolute bull**** is his family in line of fire. That's an absolute kop out. Seamus wore one.

End of the day 2 people didnt wear one today. Both Irish. Dont think its a coincedence.

I bet MON would have worn one if he was on the BBC doing his pundit work ?

You sure you're not in the EDL mate ?

There is nothing simple about the Irish situation. As it is political I'll swerve the ensuing debate though.

What the actual **** has the ****ing EDL got to do with ANYTHING?

Some disrespectful little prick has gone out of his way to be exactly that, disrespectful. Shouldnt have been tolerated.

Why has more not being made of James McClean not wearing a poppy on his shirt today? He's obviously refused to because all his team mates were.

Absolute scumbag.

Some Irish Catholics aren't too keen on the poppy. As it commemorates all British soldiers these days, including the ones that served in Northern Ireland.

Like thingy up there, said, it's probably more to do with not making his family a target.

so, not only are you judge, jury and executioner, you now want to force what you deem to be right onto others? land of hope and glory?

Laughable.

Whilst you're on British soil, getting paid by a British club, in front of British fans in a period of rememberance, you respect our dead soldiers.

You are always first over the top with your union flag mate. You know nothing of the situation. As I said I am not going to debate this with you.

He shouldn't be forced to wear a poppy. We shouldn't mind differing views as long as he isn't staging demos at servicemen's funerals or anything like that. As for the generalising of a nation's people, that's a tad out of line, mate. As you say, Coleman was happy to wear one.
