Whilst I still agree that the best chance of scoring against them comes from pressuring the centre backs because they have the least technical ability and are most likely to make a mistake, the whole system is designed to prevent this from happening. First of all, they use the goalkeeper as a legitimate player to take the ball in normal play, so unless you want to play rush keeper and have them join in the pressing, that creates an immediate numerical advantage and thus an open passing option. Secondly, if you do pressure them high up, they simply run away. They stretch the pitch by putting players as close to the corners/sidelines as possible, which gives wider angles for passes making them harder to cut off. It's really quite lame, but unless you take a risk by committing half your team to pressing two players who might very well play it through you anyway, there's not much you can do about it.

You can do it if you have blistering pace in the team. Arsenal second half at the Emirates a couple of season back never let them settle into a pattern and released very quickly to the likes of Walcott and he had them back on their heels.

I cant understand all the talk about 'they'll play through you anyway'. They're far from invincible, as the CL has proven on more than one occasion in the last few seasons.

I really hate barca there such fakes. There made out to be the last bastions of football but they get away with absolute murder and always get the benefit of the doubt with 50/50's, diving cheats when the match dosnt go there way and I belive this game is really proving this. I don't mind teams being pricks but I do have issues with teams with the hypocrisy of barca.

Also am much as I respect messi and love seeing him play, it seems like to tackle him is an instant yellow now no matter how good the challenge is. But you do never see the little man complane and you have to love him for that.

Alan Parry the bad kopite saying he has trials at Arsenal and Tottenham, koff.

Is he any good? Decent touch by him then like.

Supposed to be a top prospect, and has been given a few chances in the first team for Milan so must be coming along well.
