I really dont think the fans of Swansea would give a rats ass about this result on the basis they are on the brink of winning a cup. If they go out next week and lift the cup, then loosing 5-0 the previous week will not even be talked about again.

Its a kick in the balls for us, but why should any teams do us favours?

If we finish below Liverpool, the only people to blame are ourselves. We are a team who in recent weeks have been playing rubbish, and we have not got a big enough squad to drop players who have been gash (i.e. Osman and Phil).

Hope Swansea enjoy europe next season, i dont know when we will see it again though.

Dunno about that. At least half of the Swansea supporters i've seen online think it was a poor decision today. They rested half their squad for a match against a League Two side.

I'm not sure anyone will really be arsed Dave expect Everton fans.

I think it'll tarnish Laudrup, tbh. Most would shrug and accept it if Swansea had to play another PL team in the final next week. Doing this trick to prepare for a Div 2 team is pretty shabby. I know Bradford have taken big scalps, but there's no way ringing the changes like he did today can be seen as anything other than a cynical ploy to make sure agianst lower league opposition who presumably didn't have that luxury this weekend.

I'm quite surprised at the fuming going on in here because of this. If they want to leave their best players on the bench to avoid injury for the biggest game in the club's history then that's up to them; they have every right to do it.

Lol @ the current Liverpool love in going on on BBC live text....no mention whatsoever that Swansea fielded a 2nd team.

You should never underestimate the opposition in a final. And Swansea should be doing everything in their power to maximise the possibility of them winning, regardless of what the other team does or doesn't have at their disposal.

Agree. A few changes, yes OK. But to deliberately throw the game with that team selection which is what they have done was out of order. Hope they get hammered for it.

Sharpening their game at Anfield could be a better way of doing it. Put a big effort in until HT and then withdraw the likes of Pichu, Williams, Rangel.

I dearly hope Bradford beat Swansea now.

Jesus RAWK is in full flow right now

Hardly a mention that Swansea played a reserve team just the odd "Yes Swansea rested a few players, But........"

Cant wait till the get stuffed by Zenit on Thursday

Yes but if they win the cup they are in Europe so wait to see if they are still fuming this time next week.

Spot on. I wouldn't call 14 days without a proper match very good preparation for the club's biggest game in how long ?

Should have made a couple of changes at half time.
