Xavi for sure is on his downward slope, and should have played much less games this season. Used sparingly theres no reason he cant be effective for another couple of years.
Iniesta and Messi have both had plenty of moments this season in form, for club and country and it's just right now they all look a bit clueless and slow. Its only a couple weeks ago they put in a cracking performance in the home leg against Atleti. Messi in particular has been excellent for Argentina in a playmaker role, so much so that some fans here are questioning whether he is saving himself for their games and in particular the WC.
People are reacting too much, like posters in the palace game forum, to one or a couple of results.
Ive watched every game this season, and al home games live. They are not at the level of before but are still a dangerous team. I cannot in anyway explain this 4 game spell of complete rubbish though, especially as it came after one of their best performances of the season.
Crap night for me, but supporting Everton teaches me to follow Barca with lotssss of perspective of what a poor time for a club is.
There's a lot of political crap that goes on at this club, that could easily see this golden era being ripped apart just because of somebodys ego or fight for power in the board.
