Are you serious? We only need to finish 6th. We're effectively 9 pts clear of the 7th placed side, Utd, with 8 games to go. Do you seriously think Utd will win 3 more games than us in what's left of the season? Utd will do well to win more than 3 out of their last 8, never mind win 3 more than us! In other words, get your passports ready, Europe is nailed on for us. So, why on earth do you want the RS to get anywhere nearer than where they are already to winning the League!? Crazy. I hope Spurs snot them.

5th place means just a play off round, we come 6th and we have to start from the 3rd qualifying round. Yes, it might be against poor opposition, but we really could do with less games given how big our squad is.

Well no, not crazy. Why?

Because this is EVERTON you're talking about. And if you follow EVERTON, you'd know without me having to explain to you that EVERTON don't do easy run in's and will screw up at least one or two matches coming up. I'm not talking about Arsenal or City, I'm talking about against someone like Hull or Sunderland.

So while everything you mentioned up there is true, you inexplicably forgot the one main ingredient that has to do with us getting 5th or 6th and that's EVERTON's performance, which, by no means is guaranteed.

So I'll stick with wanting Spurs to lose. Thanks. I don't let my hatred of the red side blind me to the present realities.
