RS got spuds at the weekend....

difficult to decide what I would want the score to be.

We need a gap so if Liverpool win then that is defo good for us but the fate is in our hands regardless of their result on Sunday, yes we have a poor run of games but we should really be looking in front of us given the results this week.

funny the fact he said MANY as well. asked every british following fan out there and made his presumption i'd hazard a guess. people tweeting in to BBC is usually full of RS fans anyway. If they're not, they're from malaysia or somewhere miles away.

but yeah, that i hope that horrible git never wins the league nor do i think he deserves to. the biggest hypocrit football's ever seen, yet he's always been portrayed as this saint, thank god i'm not english and have THAT as my national football captain is all i can say

Haha it's a good job I couldn't give a flying one about the national team.

Whoever sent that message in was definitely an RS like.

How fecking cringey is this #MakeUsDream crap?

But they are "going for the title"...

I think you're missing the tone of my comment. Yes, as I said they are in the title hunt but the inference from the commentary is that they are in poll position and having to grind out results with the title "on the line". Instead - the reality is that they are one of three contenders and, as such, the appropriate comment should have been along of the lines of "when you're in the hunt for the big prizes" or "in order to stay in the hunt" you have to grind out results. I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear but the strong inference to me was that they were in the box seat the way they kept repeating themselves, falling over themselves to put Liverpool into poll position. Did anyone hear anything like "winning to keep the pressure up on Chelsea (and City) which would have been much more in keeping with the present league situation. Even if you want to split hairs and say it's dead level then a more neutral stance is required like "to keep pace with Chelsea (and City)" but I didn't hear any of that either.

is that some twitter rubbish their fans have created? why i never go near that site - it's annoying as hell.

Yeah, it's gonna be a dive fest.

Ramires for Chelsea and then Suarez and Sturridge for Liverpool.

There's going to be at least one dive in the box with a pen awarded.

Matthew Penny: As a neutral, many of us want LFC to win EPL for one reason, so I'm starting a new hashtag #winitforstevieg spread the word!

what a bellend - why would any neutral want a racist supporting cult to win a league?

Probably some cryptic message off 321 with Ted Rogers. Matthew Penny -- Threw a Penny (into the Arsenal Crowd).
Clearly it is Jamie Carragher.

Hopefully the ref thinks the same and just goes mental with the bookings. For Liverpool, obviously.

I took it as more like if they had conceded a last minute equaliser to Sunderland then it would have made the title significantly harder from here on in.

It'll be that close. 2 points makes a huge difference.

I'll bite.

A win for Liverpool. More distance between us and Spurs for that 5th spot.

Are you serious? We only need to finish 6th. We're effectively 9 pts clear of the 7th placed side, Utd, with 8 games to go. Do you seriously think Utd will win 3 more games than us in what's left of the season? Utd will do well to win more than 3 out of their last 8, never mind win 3 more than us! In other words, get your passports ready, Europe is nailed on for us. So, why on earth do you want the RS to get anywhere nearer than where they are already to winning the League!? Crazy. I hope Spurs snot them.
