That was better than Beckham's goal in my mind. It was on the half-volley, which although it sat up nicely, is more difficult to execute than Beckham's (not taking anything away from him, though).

west ham are just utter turgid to watch. lump to carroll look for flick on - all they do when they have the ball, surely you can get premier league footballers to conjure up something better allardyce!

at least they were good to watch at times at bolton.
