i hope you told him to pipe down ha. i think they drastically underachieve every season given the squads they always seem to have (squads now, not just first XI), but if they do it every season it may not be underachieving.

Their not underachieving their about the 6th/7th biggest club in the country and they compete for the top 4 most season.

If anyone is underachieving in this country it is not spurs but Aston villa

Two great results form us today. Keeps MU below us and we have a game in hand, Spurs 2 points infront but we have 2 games in hand on them.

Come on Roberto get the act together and 5th spot is ours.

top 4 set in stone now anyway. we're the only ones who can realistically catch one because of our games in hand, but we'll throw it away at newcastle i believe.

spurs are definitely out of it. could be 14 points behind arsenal & liverpool if they win their game in hand with 8 to play. city will win enough points in their 3 games in hand to be more than that as well.

if they win 2 and lose 1 of those 3 though, there's 2 points seperating the top 4 with 8 games to go.

no other top league has 4 teams that close to eachother, hence why the prem is the best league in the world.

look at the bottom as well and how tight it is between us, spurs and united for the 2 european slots, this is all set up for a cracking run in

Would it [Poor language removed]! A place in a competition that is proper meh, wouldn't soften the blow one iota

Look, has it ever occurred to you that our obsession with that other lot is a tad unhealthy?

I mean, the bloody song lyric is "We don't care what the Red Side say"

Let them do whatever it is they're going to do and let's just focus on ourselves

Finishing 5th and getting into Europe would be a GOOD thing and we should be happy if it happens, regardless if LFC win the league at the same time

this weekend's results has made the possibiltiy of european football next season into a distinct reality now!!!

COYBS

beat swansea next week and im like 65% certain we will finish top 6

got home games v arsenal, man utd and city to come which will be tough but we are at HOME!! the FORTRESS!

I HOPE WE GET INTO DAT EUROPE VIA THE FAIR PLAY LEAGUE AND FAVE BARCA THEY ONLY WON 7-0 TODAY.

COME ON OSMAN DEEZ ARE SHEEEEEEEIIIIITE.

Wake up lads, a brief venturing into Europe May sound exciting, until you realise and accept we are SKINT and we have no strikers.

I'm keeping the faith, but the delusions are being comical here.

Couldn't agree more.

And I'm not saying 5th is all we should aspire to either, but considering we've had a new manager, who has brought in new players and we look set to possibly finish higher than we did last season, I see no reason not to be happy with that as a finish

We've spent the equivalent bar of soap and a packet of matches in comparison to the teams in the top 4 slots. Finishing 5th in that sense would not be a bad finish and could be a stepping stone to greater things

So what if Liverpool win the league? Yeah, I won't be happy, but at the end of the day my primary focus is how well Everton do, not how well the other lot over the park do.

Gone on Thursday after their last glimmer of hope of a place in next seasons CL is extinguished by the Greeks. Their share price will start to plummet and they'll sack him to try and arrest the slide and instil some positivity imo

I hope so, the bottling ginger ballbag.
