BT Sport and Andy Gray in particular were so unbelievably biased towards them yesterday. According to commentary, even for Arsenal's first goal, it was "Steven Gerrard did BRILLIANTLY to get a block on Sanogo's shot, and it unfortunately fell to Chamberlain". Yeah he did brilliantly turning his back on the ball and letting it hit him, didn't he?

How do they get away with being so biased?

yeah i didn't get that either, it was a heitinga turn your back on the ball move, it hit him, rather than it being a block tbh, if that went past him he would have been called a coward.

...well not by the media.

Ibra's goal. Wow.

Are Arsenal home or away tonight? Although I don't think it matters, as I reckon Bayern are so far ahead of any English team or any other team at the moment that they will beat Arsenal in both legs.

Ever think we'll see an Iirsh last in the last 16?

Who even won the league this year? Weren't Shelbourne doing well, or did I imagine that?

I know Shamrock Rovers had a bad season

I think you'd have to do something radical like restructure the league (in the way it worked for Rugby by having 4 elite provincial teams with centralised player contracts). If you had a Celtic league perhaps. Never happen though.

There wasn't really a team near where I'm from but Rovers relocated and are about a half hour away from my place now. I'm bringing my 6 year old there on and off.

Meself and the old man used to go to Bohs for years, if they weren't at home, we'd go to one of the other games.

That's part of the problem, there's large catchment areas that don't have an affinity with any team. This used to be the case with Rugby until they concentrated on the provincials.

I honestly think that all the English teams could go out at this stage actually

I fully expect Chelsea to get through with relative ease.

If anyone else was in charge of United I'd back them to get past a weak Olympiakos side which lost its best player in January. As it is, it's probably a 60-40 chance. Not enough to back United though.

How are Cork City doing these days?

I hear they're quite well supported
