It was all set up nicely wasn't it? Yet here you are, two points ahead of your 'bitter' brethren and as far away from the premiership title as you've ever been.

Amend the bet. You are seeking an unfair advantage. Stop sidestepping the issue. These lads have in good faith taken a bet up with you, but you sully the spirit of that bet by insisting on retaining an unfair advantage.

I realise you're fuming about today's result, but give some respect where it's due. Never mind all the "nice one lad" to people who took your challenge up, give them a fighting chance of winning it. You really are not that confident in your expensively assembled squad to outgun Everton from this point are you?

I'm not seeking anything mate the bet has been made.

Unfortunately it seems there are not many confident that Everton will finish above Liverpool.

Is a two point deficit to much for such a superior team, manager, squad to make up?

So 43m then, I said upwards of 50m so hardly a massive exaggeration was it

If you can not see why that cost compared to what our forward line set us back would see you create and score more goals then there's no help for you
 
Comparing the squads here, and to be honest I'm a little surprised at Liverpool's lack of depth in the attacking midfield areas. They really could have done with that Ukrainian lad.

They're relying heavily on their strikers, as in attacking midfield they've only really got Coutinho and Sterling who offer them a lot, whereas we've got 5 players there.

We've definitely got the best defence, too.

I'm looking beyond the cost mate and just see them as superior players, is that what you are saying?
