The more pundits talk about a team the more awareness there is of them. This leads to more fans, more desire from the masses to see them on TV and, therefore more TV revenue.

Someone has said on here that Liverpool are on TV for their next 8(?) games. That's a lot of TV revenue.

Good point

Getting treated like we're small time by the media effects the way everyone else thinks about us and can only do damage

Results aside what strikes me about watching Man U is how desperately ordinary they are. They just don't even begin to excite. januzaj is an ordinary teen with a bit aout him and apparently he is their golden hope....they are an ordinary mid division side with no eyecatching talent which comes a cropper agaisnt he top sides.

Mate, if you think that kid is an ordinary teen you're eating too many mushies. The lids a superb footballer with a good temprament to go with it. He'll be a superb player in time, already is really. In terms of influencing games there's not to much difference between him and Ross.

Honestly, City will wipe the floor with Barca.

Definitely not.

Its one thing watching them try to break down a massed defense, which Levante are very good at at home, it's another when they play a team who will come out and play them. City will give them enough space, unless they go defensive also...which I don't think will.

Great game today from the old dudes of Levante.

So...reading Red Cafe, the fans seem split down the middle on whether or not Vidic's sending off was a red. For me, it was late, knee high, and there was no intent to play the ball. I think it was correctly given as a red.

Rafael's yellow was even worse...two footed, studs up lunges should be red every time regardless of winning the ball.

Thoughts?

I think both were red. Even debating Vidic's red reeks of Kopitism really, it was crystal clear.
