Hoping Brendan lacks the bottle to drop Gerrard for the Derby. Thought he was very poor overall at Goodison and shows nothing apart from delivery from free kicks and his penalty taking. He seems to have lost all of his mobility and pace. We have a much better chance if he is on the pitch for them imo. Our attack could tear them apart. Hope we get a ref with some cojones, though. They always seem to get rescued by poor decisions in their favour no matter how badly they play.

Well no, not really. I didn;t say the ref wasn't sure if it was a foul or not, i said he got 1 view of it at full speed and thought there was a foul so gave it.

Its only after watching slow mo replays that we can judge with certainty that there was no contact.

We won't lose the derby in my opinion, draw mimimum. Villa passed them off the park first half, we are more consistent and have better players than Villa.

Plus, it only got them a point, not 2 or 3.

They're 8 points adrift off the top of the league now, having been top at Christmas and getting a couple of dodgy penalties in the last 2 matches.
