The problem the United board have now is that its abundantly clear they are going to have to spend at least £100 million in the summer just to get into the position of being a likely top four side, and they are going to have to get rid of a lot of senior players.

I suppose it all comes down to the players he wants to bring in - if he is looking at Herrera, Coentrao etc then he can probably be expected to get them there (back in the top four); if he is after Baines then hes probably lost it and will get booted in favour of someone (Klopp would probably be the best choice given that Dortmund wont win anything for the next four or five years) who can be trusted with a rebuilding job of that scale.

I am at work and certainly not supposed to be on GOT but i can not help but crackup laughing at this

Exactly. Getting the boot in embarrassing fashion from OT would be sufficient penance for me.

I'm just enjoying the ride up until that inevitable outcome.

What got me more than anything he said about our players he wanted to sign was the way he hung around signing Osman up as his last act and trying to have a say in who succeeded him. That was outrageous behaviour.

Made up the no mark is getting battered now. Absolutely made up.

Still gonna finish top 4 ? Don't think so - between us and the ****e - believe it !!

Hmmm. Van Persie and Rooney to come back in + signings: there's a five point gap and 18 matches to go. It'd be very optimistic to think United were out of those CL spots.

Moyes avoided doing a post-match interview with Sky.

He's a broken man..

BBC seem to have gotten something from him:

Sunderland 2-1 Man Utd
Manchester United manager David Moyes says 'we just need to keep going' and is not happy with the free-kick that led to the first Sunderland goal. Or the penalty for the second.

"We feel like we are playing referees as well as the opposition these days," he says.
