Could be a good little West Ham comeback on the cards here. Reckon they're going to at least get to the 2-1 stage.
Wow I just turned back to the TV and now I look like a **** haha

You know, I'm a Hibernian fan in name only really. I mean, I've never been to a match live and only watch them on TV and don't follow them on a day to day basis

That being said, I trekked around 6-7 bars in Liverpool today to find a pub showing The Hibs Vs Celtic match. After finally finding myself in O'Neils on Hannover Street, I sat down for kick off only to see huge chunks of empty seats in the stadium. Apparently the "real" fans didn't think it was worth showing up to watch their team play the Champions. Hearts would have had a capacity crowd at Tynecastle for a fixture like this.

People who live in the city didn't feel they had to go and support their team against the toughest team in the league, when their players would need them the most. Meanwhile, I trekked all over town in the faint hope that one of the pubs I went in would actually have it on. When a plastic like me is showing more commitment than you are, you need to take a long hard look in the mirror

Rant over

Oh well, at least it was to the leaders

No shame in losing to them

Just annoying. They've played so many decent teams already this season and only lost narrowly.

I guess I need patience. They are a hell lot better than this time last season. And apparently have money to spend in Jan. Which is probably a lie.

Mick McCarthy probably end up buying a giant striker of somekind

I was going to say Crouch but I think he's playing for some other team now. They keep showing clips of him signing with them on the TV. They seem to be quite low down the leagues though

3 reasons mainly

1. I really like Edinburgh

2. They are an "Irish" side, but have no where near the amount of militant bells following them as Celtic do

and

3. When I was young I always liked their kit

I keep an eye on Hibs cos me best mate was a fanatic. Took me to Easter Road to see them against Rangers in the Souness days. Strange it wasnt full today though.
