Back from the County game

Brace yourselves, Stockport won by 3 goals to 1

It wasn't a bad game all in all. There was still some of the Sunday League "11 players all trying to kick the ball at once" stuff, but that's to be expected at this level. I still consider Carlton Palmers County side to be the worst football team I ever paid money to see. You have lower standards when you watch Conference North

There was 2,802 in the crowd, which is actually more than the last time I went. Not bad for this level. County fans were in voice too. Surprisingly, we share a chant with them. They also chant about "Manchester is full of ****". As a Stopfordian myself, I enjoyed that chant quite a bit

I still think County will struggle this season but this was an encouraging result. I'll definately go to another game if I get the chance. Had a quick peruse around the club shop and picked up the Supporters Year Book and a DVD entitled "City, City, What's the Score?" which contains all of Countie's wins over City in the late 90's and early 00's. So yeah, County fans hate City
