To an extent yes. Although they did win the CL twice after Inter beat them. They just dont have the intensity for the very high pressurising though, and that goes to the age of the squad. The thing is though, by the time they get that intensity back the game being whjat it is - never stops evolving - Barca's brand of football will be well superceded.

The thing is that the high pressuring game only worked because it often resulted in a disordered opposition, and the ability of the likes of Xavi and Iniesta to find space against it with their fantastic passing. You could get much the same result, with much the same team, by just adding a couple of quick wide players to the side.

Also it should perhaps now be mentioned how bad many of Pep Guardiola's buys have been - Alexis Sanchis hasnt worked out, neither has Cesc, neither has Villa (though thats more because they refuse to play him that often, as well as his injury), Chygrynsky was awful.
